Dog and possums

I bought our first ping string to protect our climbing roses from possums. That worked a treat and we now have two beautiful climbing roses covered in buds. They have been decimated in previous years. My second purchase was a ping string to stop our cavoodle digging her way out of our yard. It stopped her immediately and she no longer digs. We could not be happier with our ping strings. We had tried everything else over two years trying to stop the possums. Nothing else worked. Ping string is the solution.

Worth every dollar!

I have a small indoor dog who would constantly jump all over my new garden when reacting to the neighbours dogs, every time I let him outside. . He would charge at the fence, barking uncontrollably and scratching at the fence, driving me nuts. Not anymore! It only took 2 attempts for him to work it out and now I can enjoy being outside with him in peace. Setting it up was also super easy. I highly recommend this product!

Dog Electric Fence - they learn fast

A great unit, easy to set up. The dogs each touched it once, & while it wasn't nice to see them get a fright, they have never gone near it again. While it is a firm zap, it is fairly mild compared to a farm electric fence. A year or so into using the unit & its still running well, & very durable. Love it!!!

The excellent solutions for my escaping dogs

After I have had problems with my 2 Jack Russells misbehaved digging tunnels underneath the fences and escaping through the neighbour side multiple times. One of my neighbours recommended Sureguard. I chose Pingg-string as they don't have to wear special collars and no hectic jobs to bury the wires like ordinary in ground dog fences. It certainly works wonder! However, it can't stop chickens to get in and eating the veggie gardens. I'm guessing probably because they all have thick feathers and scales on the feet and legs (but at least they don't escape from my property like those two dogs). I did accidentally stunk on those fences a few times. So, I know they 100% work. Thank you to Brad as well for his promptly phone call after I placed the order. Possums are stopped

The local possums can no longer eat up all my parsley and lettuce and I don't have to net the vege garden now. The little fence works a treat and I can step over it. So much neater and easier. We also fenced off the kayaks under the carport so the possums can't make nests in the kayak cockpits any more and wee and poo all over them. Works wonderfully well and I love the little solar charger!

Ping String Dog Fence

I have been using this fence to keep my GSD off the garden fir over 10 years. It is extremely effective and very reliable. When I have had some issues the staff at Sureguard have been amazing. Can’t recommend the fence and service enough.

Great Product and Service!

The Pingg-String keeps both our golden retriever and staffy away from our newly planted garden, despite the height and coat differences. With gentle training the first day, they haven't been near it since. It easy to install and being solar powered it is not obtrusive and easy to maintain. Ping Fence

Best investment I've ever made. Live in a rented home & the backyard was not fenced at the carport end, also it was higher by about one meter, and the neighbors fence was full of holes my dog could have gotten through. I spoke to the rep at Sureguard they recommended the ping fence. Service was great & delivery was fantastic. Putting it up is a bit of a nuisance, BUT, well worth the fiddling around. My dog. cross Foxy & Jack Russel, only touched it twice & never again. Love the product , backup service was great as was the initial conversation & advice.

Worked first time

Problem gone immediately

From the moment the single line was installed it was effective in keeping our 2 dogs (shepherd and a bitser the same size) from scaling our fence much to our and the neighbours relief. Great product!!

Ping String Success

I purchased a ping string kit as our two dogs were destroying our trees and veggie patch. We erected a chicken wire fence and had barriers around all of our trees and garden beds to protect them from the dogs. Our backyard looked like a something out of the favelas of Brazil, and they were still destroying the garden. Just when I was about to give the dogs away, I came across the ping string. Immediately after installing the dogs tried their luck and were not happy with the results. Unfortunately the unit that was sent out had a fault two days later. I called Suregaurd and they express posted me a new one in exchange for the faulty unit, which was an easy process. The new unit has been up and running for several months now without issue. Peace has been restored and the dogs stay 1m away from the fence at all times. The main advantage is that we now do not have to punish our dogs for misbehaving, so we are all better off.

Excellent product , quick easy setup also. Dogs have not escaped nor attempted to go near the fence where they would normally dig under. Installed a single line along 70m of fence line and couldn’t be happier!!

I highly recommend the Pingg - String

Purchased a puppy who started to destroy my back garden from day one. Put up with this for two weeks and finally decided something had to change. Found the Pingg - String at our Bunnings store and ordered it. Installation was very easy (we only had to put one string line because of the size of the pup). Didn't take long for her to touch the wire with her nose and got a zap. She didn't like it but stayed away. Next day it happened again and since then (2 weeks) she hasn't ventured near the garden again. Some of the time the energiser has been turned off but she still stays away. To protect the front garden I have just set up the remaining posts and string, no energiser. She has recognised the string and not gone near the garden. I highly recommend the Pingg - String.

completely doggy proof from the start

I bought the Pingg String Kit after many escapes and much frustration from my 2 Amstaff pups. I replaced fencing, installed mesh in the ground, but nothing stopped these 2 little pirates from escaping until they met the Pingg String. After being installed they had a couple of little surprises each and have not gone within 6 feet of it since. I installed 2 wire strands on it and it's been completely doggy proof from the start. Excellent product with great back up and customer service, would highly recommend to anyone wanting an easy solution to their escaping puppies.

Small Escapee

I was getting phone calls and texted photo’’s of my mini poodle happily trotting down our street from neighbours, only when I was at work. I tried large rocks where she was escaping however my larger dog, a bull Arab x GSP was digging the large rocks out and then they would start somewhere else. So after reading the reviews I bought this product. My husband helped me install it and we used just one string about 30-50 cm in front of a thirty metre fence line and around 25-30 cm high. It was easy to install and would not be any trouble to move if I have to. All the dogs have touched the string and none of them will go anywhere near that fence line now. Great product, does exactly what is says it will do. No more eascapees!

Problem Solved!

Soon after the Ping String was installed, our dog got her first little ping! Since then she has stayed at least a metre from the fence and we are confident she's not going to dig out the yard anymore. Money well spent. Sureguard customers service was excellent, with advise and quick delivery.

We have had a very successful outcome with our ping string. We thought that our very determined escape artist would never be contained in our yard.
