How it Works
The Sureguard K9 Pro-Control is a multi-purpose device designed to manage dog behavior in a non-harmful way. It emits an ultrasonic sound that is safe for both humans and dogs but is within the canine hearing range. This sound is unexpected and interrupts behaviours such as excessive barking, unwanted conduct or approaching unknown dogs, making the device effective in various situations.

How to use the K9 Pro-Control
Interrupting Barking Dogs
- Ensure you are within 1 to 15 meters of the barking dog.
- Point the device at the dog.
- Press the button for no more than 2 seconds. Short bursts are most effective.
- The ultrasonic sound will confuse and distract the dog, interrupting the barking.
Deterring Approaching Dogs in Public
- Ensure you are within 1 to 15 meters of the approaching dog.
- Point the device at the dog.
- Press the button for 2 seconds to emit the ultrasonic sound.
- The sudden sound will startle the dog and deter it from approaching.
Charging Your Device
- Insert the provided USB cable into a 5V USB charger or an available USB port on your computer.
- Bring the opposite end of the USB cable towards the device’s magnetic charging port. The magnet will secure the cable for charging.
Cleaning & Storage
- Wipe clean with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Clean the magnetic charging port terminals with a pencil

Can the K9 Pro-Control be used to train dogs?
It is a behaviour management tool and is not intended for use as a training clicker.
How long does the battery last?
With daily use, the device is designed to last several weeks before needing a recharge.
How long does it take to charge the device?
It takes approximately 4-5 hours to fully charge the device using a computer or appropriate 5V adapter.
Is the device waterproof?
The device is highly durable but not waterproof. Avoid exposure to heavy rain.
