I purchased these after moving into a new place that had a magpie lark constantly attacking some of the windows and leaving dirty marks on them. Since putting the decals up it hasn't stopped entirely but has definitely slowed down.

We moved to a home with large windows along the whole north side, looking onto bushland. Everything was beautiful.....until the bird strikes started. We did not know what to do until I started researching and found Sureguard stick on deflectors. That was a couple of weeks back and we have not had a bird strike since. With a large Glass Pool fence in the North Tropics we were getting bird kills way too often and no one wants to see beautiful birds dying unnecessarily. Since I have installed two of these attractive stickers to our Glass panels we have had no bird strikes. They are easy to install and look great. Very happy with the time taken to receive these in the post, and the ordering process was easy. I was surprised to find the product is actually manufactured in the United States, rather than in Australia. Anyway, after completely cleaning our glass french doors and following the application instructions carefully, I didn't find the application process easy with either of the two deflectors I was trying to apply to each door. The deflectors would keep progressively curling off the glass starting from the edges and then fall off in a tight cylinder. It took about 4 attempts before I worked out a solution - totally soaking the deflectors in water for a while before applying them to the glass, and they have now stayed in place for a few weeks. Since then, I haven't noticed any bird strikes while we've been home. We were wondering if our tinted glass on the doors would hamper the effect of the deflectors, so time will tell. [EDITOR: If applying them in cold weather it would help to soak them in warm water first. And, if the tinted glass reduces the effectiveness, the manufacturer said applying them on the outside is acceptable but inside is best for longevity].

After experiencing many fatal bird strikes on some of my windows I had to find a solution. I was so pleased to find a. Local company who had the solution to this problem. we have large windows at the rear of our house and since we put the stickers on our windows we have not had any incidents of birds knocking themselves out by flying ito them. So i guess yes they do work

They look pretty, easy to apply and so far they work

We live in a large shed-house with many windows in thick bush in rural qld. We regularly had birds flying into windows of the home, since we installed these decals on windows, we haven’t had a single collision. I have witnessed them working, the birds will fly close to the window, see the illumination of the decal and change paths. Very cool and the decals look great. Nice design and so easy to position. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend these to any environmental conscious people or anyone who want to protect the birds in their backyard.
