My unit got fried in the mega lightning storm in December - as soon as the collar stopped working the dog started roaming again (and killing neighbourhood chickens) - Even though i thought the replacement was quite expensive it has been very effective, and immediately upon putting a working collar back on the dog she has not escaped. I tired a cheap chinese collar in the interim and it was completely useless. The repairs took 1 day and i have to say are worth it

I couldn't be happier with Sureguard's electric dog fence. I have a 5 yo golden retriever. I'm on 5 fenced acres however the exposure was the front gate. Two or three times a day my dog would wander, visiting the local churches, schools and following people walking by. Nothing short of tying him up would keep him in. Three years back I installed Sureguard's electric fence. It is about the only product I've bought that works as advertised. My dog has been contained now for 3 years, no more worries and endless heart attacks. Best money I have ever spent.
