I really appreciated the follow up phone call when I couldn't get the energizer to work again after I put the new battery in. It solved my problem and had the fence working again as good as new.Read More9 years agoReviewed byH Gunston00Awesom12/06/2023 6:06e, worry-free solution.I have to say, your product is awesome, it's taken so much worry out of the setup, I have peace of mind knowing it's so reliable, thank you. In answer to your question, for the recent purchase and the original unit purchase, the Sureguard Pro-tech 5 I have has certainly met and exceeded my expectations of a solar electric fence system. I have to admit that I don't go into the programming or diagnostic side in case I get something wrong. But the set and forget works very well. There have been one or two occasions throughout some early winter mornings (TAS) that there was no power to the unit, power light red, fence light green, but was soon back to full power and running like clockwork, perhaps I'm thinking the backup battery may need replacing? The reason for my recent purchase of new connector wires and battery is that I bought some new steers recently, one of which turned out to be a bull and the crafty bugger worked out if he just pulled those wires out with his horns, he could disable the line. I staked him out once, twice to be sure. So I've got the connectors in case these ones fail plus the battery for the same reason. They arrived quickly, in great condition with no purchase fuss. Keep up the great work and no doubt I'll be back.Read More9 years ago
