Checklist before starting this quote:

  1. The Pingg-String Energiser is installed to collect 1~2 hours of full sun and face northwards. Decide on a suitable location anywhere along the barrier.
    NOTE: Most installations only need one Energiser.
  2. This Fence-Top Barrier is designed for installation on top of existing timber, brick and colourbond fencing.
  3. Other types of fence materials might be accommodated by attaching small timber blocks to the fence and installing the Pingg-String components to these timber blocks.
  4. The existing fence must fully enclose the containment area and the Fence-Top Barrier must be installed around this full length. Otherwise, visit this alternative page.
  5. Other exit or entry points must be considered. For example, jumping from buildings like sheds, garages, etc. If practical, install the Fence-Top Barrier at the strategic location to block the exit/entry point.

If the fence-line stops at a shed or other structure and you need to continue the Fence-Top Barrier on the other side, you can join together these separated sections using Pingg-String Cable. In this question the separation is up to 10m. Select the number of times you want to join sections. (See the next question box for distances more than 10m)

Does your fence-line include a large shed or other structure? (between 10m-30m)

You can join separated sections of Fence-Top Barrier using Pingg-String Cable. In this question, the cable length is 30m. For distances greater than 30m, purchase a second Pingg-String Energiser to power the other section.
